It’s out! Pantone named the color of the year for 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity (a shade of baby blue).
Seeing this got me excited and took me back to my wedding planning days— I really truly wanted light blue and blush pink, but I can’t seem to let go of my first love, purple. So I combined them all! Lol!

It was hard to get all the colors together– but I think in the end it all worked out. I asked my bridesmaids to pick a dress they really like (seen too much weddings with bridesmaids in uncomfy dresses they will never wear again– heck, I’ve been one of those, too!), so it made it hard to get the colors perfectly. But seeing the photos, I guess the imperfection worked well for us– and my bridesmaids got to keep dresses they love. <3
